Facilitation & Events

Fall 2018 – We worked with Sask Forward, Climate Justice Saskatoon, and the Corporate Mapping Project to design and deliver this two day event in Regina on Treaty 4 territory to discuss the possibilities for transitioning Saskatchewan’s economy to renewable energies in a ways that are just, especially for workers and indigenous peoples. We coordinated the team of facilitators and volunteers for the symposium and will be staying involved in the important follow-up work that is happening.

Spring 2018 – We recruited and coordinated the facilitation team for this two-day event, hosted by Str8 Up – 10,000 Little Steps to Healing and their government partners. 100+ people attended, including former gang members, frontline service providers, and government representatives. Following the forum, we worked Strong Roots Consulting to code, analyze, and summarize the attendees’ input, and a full report was written by Dr. Robert Henry of the University of Calgary.
